24th February 2019 - AGM
The Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday 24th February 2019. We would like to thank all members who attended and hope they enjoyed the rather excellent cake selection. Many thanks to Brian Jones who attended and gave an always interesting report on the rescue and rehousing situation of the breed. Thanks also go to Bob Allen who gave a report on the Breed Liaison Council and a review of their meetings.
We sadly said thank you and goodbye to our Chair Ann Youens who has done sterling work over the years. She has left big shoes to fill, but her journey and motorway escapades were getting a little too much from Skegness. We thank you Ann for all your hard work. We must welcome our new members of the committee, the new Chair Andrew Durrant (Glenturret) and committee members Izabela Kulczycka (Everblack) and Abby Bellamy (Moontorn) .. Welcome!
24th May 2019 - Club Championship Show
We will be holding our Second Championship show this year in conjunction with Bath Championship Show as we did last year. Due to Bath's Gundog day rotating, our show will change with them, so we will be on Friday 24th May, at the Bath Showground of Three Shires Field, Bannerdown, Bath, BA1 8EG.
Our judge for the day will be Mrs Pamela Stanley and judging commences at 10:15am. Judging will differ to last year, this year we will simply start judging later than the Bath Show, so we will start at 10:15am with dogs and then proceed to bitches as you would normally do. Hopefully this later start time will allow for ease of the exhibitors with regards to showing between both rings.
Please note passes will not be sent. Yet again we have some rather beautiful rosettes on offer, so please do support the show, the rings will be similar as last year, so the Bath ring and Club ring will be close to each other to make it easier for exhibitors to show in both shows.
Postal entries close Friday 26th April 2019, online entries close Noon Friday 3rd May 2019. To enter online, please visit the Higham press website on this link https://www.dog.biz
